Wednesday 20th February 2002

This was a lazy day and very windy. We got up late (especially Helen) and did some house cleaning before we went out. Had hot chocolate in a café and went to the post office for more stamps.

We visited Calvi's citadelle on foot - quite spectacular waves - and then had a trip to Super-U, having first bought maps and a newspaper on the way.

By late afternoon we went back home where we had to complain to the neighbours about their workmen hammering. This turned out to be interesting as they are Italian with little French!
