Monday 18th February 2002

We made a quick trip to the Super-U just in time before it shut for lunch.

We drove to St. Florent, just along the coast, where we had lunch outside on the sea front (very briefly) and then in the car. We walked along the quay and into the town, had éclairs, found the Citadelle and retired to a bar for hot chocolate.

We drove on to see the Church of St. Michel which is green and white and very surprising.

The drive home started on a ludicrously winding and vertiginous road "Le défilé de Lancône", and finished up with the route home from Bastia airport.
